YIKES!!! Alligator Swamp! Wood Lake Recreation Area Apalachicola

Carolyn and I have been fulltime RV’ing in a
1970 Starcraft pop-up camper for three weeks and are having a great time.  As we were leaving Florida, we made one last
stop at Apalachicola National Forest, Wood Lake Recreational Area.  We found out that we were sleeping next to
Alligator Swamp…YIKES  this was a great
FREE boondocking spot.
